(Crewe, 13 June 2025) Bentley Motors has today published the first-ever Impact Report from the Bentley Environmental Foundation, marking a significant milestone on the second anniversary of the award-winning initiative. The report details the Foundation’s growing global footprint, delivered in collaboration with ten strategic partners, all united by a shared vision to address some of the most urgent global challenges. Since its inception, the Foundation has supported 18 projects across 14 countries, benefitting over 636,000 people, and delivering 1,622+ targeted activities. The full report is available to read online.

The report showcases the global reach and tangible impact of the Foundation’s work over its first two years. Guided by three strategic pillars: Protect and Regenerate Nature, Enable Changemakers, and Drive Innovative Solutions Towards Decarbonisation, since its inception, the Foundation has supported 18 projects across 14 countries worldwide, benefitting over 636,000 people, and delivering 1,622+ targeted activities. Other key milestones include the planting of 200,000 mangrove trees in Kenya, and the funding of 26 new green spaces across the UK.

This first Impact Report is more than a summary of achievements – it’s a reflection of Bentley’s commitment to environmental stewardship on a global scale and to future generations.

“At Bentley, we create the ultimate benchmark in performance and luxury for generations to come, seamlessly blending craftsmanship, innovation, and sustainability,” said Wayne Bruce, Head of the Bentley Environmental Foundation.  “The Bentley Environmental Foundation embodies this same spirit of progress, going beyond our own business needs to help tackle the world’s most pressing environmental challenges.”

Closer to home, the Foundation has renewed its partnership with The Rivers Trust to continue its efforts to restore and regenerate the Valley Brook River in Crewe, home to Bentley’s headquarters. Following a successful first phase in 2024, the new stage of the project will focus on the Macon Meadows area in partnership with Mersey Rivers Trust. This aims to enhance biodiversity, restore natural habitats, and offer local volunteering and skills training opportunities – empowering Bentley colleagues to contribute directly to their local environment. So far, the Foundation has helped create three new local jobs, further demonstrating how environmental action can generate economic opportunity.

“The publication of this Impact Report marks a proud milestone for Bentley,” said Luciano Della Mura, Project Lead of the Bentley Environmental Foundation. “It celebrates the transformative work of our partners and reinforces our belief that luxury and responsibility must go hand-in-hand. Our renewed commitment to The Rivers Trust is also excellent news for the local area. The project will bring multiple environmental and social benefits to Crewe, whilst providing a unique opportunity for Bentley employees to contribute directly to the environment where they live and work.  As we enter our third year, the Foundation will continue to drive purposeful change, for both people and planet.”

Further partners will be announced later this year. The full Bentley Environmental Foundation Impact Report is available to view and download here.
